The objective of this Work Package is to develop a life course Health Impact Assessment (HIA) framework for healthy ageing and premature mortality for the population aged more than fifty. The HIA framework will be populated with epidemiological evidence and socio-demographic data, and will generate estimates of the impact of counter-factual policy choices on healthy ageing for different SES groups based on population attributable fractions. Moreover, the WP aims to build counter-factual scenarios of the impact of policy choices on healthy life expectancy and premature mortality from unhealthy ageing across SES groups, with sensitivity analyses using the Health Impact Assessment (HIA) framework.
